KYBERSTATION

UNIVERSAL · SABER · STYLE · ENGINE

ONE HILT. INFINITE BLADES.

HOVER TO IGNITE · CLICK TO OPEN IN EDITOR

01 / DESIGN

WYSIWYG, not config editing

29 blade styles, 21 effects, 19 ignition animations. Click the blade to place spatial effects. Everything round-trips through ProffieOS-compatible C++.

02 / SIMULATE

Motion, audio, and real diffusion

Swing, angle, and twist drive the sim. Audio sync pitches the sound font to gesture. Neopixel gamma and WS2812b bias in the preview — not a cartoon.

03 / EXPORT

Compiles clean. Writes the card.

Generated code drops into Arduino IDE with no edits. One-click SD card write. Share builds as URL seeds, no account required.

FEATURE / LEDGER

What you get

Everything below ships in v1.0. No login. No paywall. No backend calls. Your designs stay in your browser unless you export them.

33 Blade Styles

Stable, Unstable, Fire, Plasma, Crystal Shatter, Aurora, Helix, Candle — and 25 more. Mix layers, stack effects, build something unique.

450+ Presets

Every Jedi, Sith, Inquisitor, plus 130+ cross-franchise sabers (LOTR, Marvel, Zelda, Final Fantasy, anime). Drop in, then make it yours.

22 Combat Effects

Clash, Lockup, Blast, Drag, Melt, Lightning, Stab, Force, Shockwave, Ripple, Freeze. Each one with spatial placement on the blade.

19 × 13 Transitions

Nineteen ignition animations and thirteen retractions. Mix and match. Or wire dual-mode ignitions that change behavior per saber orientation.

Modulation Routing

Wire any swing, sound, angle, twist, or clash signal to any parameter. Live driver evaluation in the visualizer; AST injection in the codegen.

ProffieOS Codegen

Real C++ output, validated against ProffieOS 7.x. Compiles clean with arduino-cli. Builds the full config.h with every preset wired.

Sound Font Manager

Auto-detect Proffie and CFX font folders. Preview SmoothSwing pairs. Map fonts to presets. Ships with the Brave file-system flag warning.

Saber Card Snapshots

One-click 1200×675 share cards. Five themes (Deep Space, Imperial, Jedi, Light, Pure Black). Four layouts (default, OG, Instagram, Story). Plus animated GIF export.

Try it now

No install. No accounts. No backend. Your browser is the workbench — open the editor, pick a preset, start tweaking.

Notes for first-time users

First public release

KyberStation is a hobby project — the first public programming project from one developer in the saber community. Expect rough edges. Things will break.

Issues and feedback are welcome on GitHub. Outside pull requests aren't accepted yet — that policy gets revisited 30 days post-launch.

Flashing your saber

  • Recommended path: dfu-util + arduino-cli. Validated end-to-end.
  • Web-based flashing is EXPERIMENTAL — works on stock boards, less reliable on vendor-customized ones.
  • Always back up your firmware before flashing anything new. Turns “bricked saber” into “30-second recovery.”

CREDITS / COMMUNITY

Built on shoulders

KyberStation wouldn't exist without decades of work from the Proffieboard ecosystem. This page is too short for a full thanks list — what follows is a starting point.

01 / SOFTWARE

ProffieOS

Fredrik Hübinette created and maintains ProffieOS — the firmware every Proffieboard saber runs. KyberStation generates configs targeted at ProffieOS 7.x. Fett263's community style libraries and prop file inspired the codegen output shape.

02 / COMMUNITY

The Crucible

The Crucible Discord and Saber Forum communities answer hundreds of hardware and software questions a day. Hobbyist tinkerers, installers, and content creators have shaped the conventions this app builds on.

03 / HARDWARE & SOUND

Sabers and fonts

Saber vendors build the Neopixel hardware these designs run on — including 89sabers, KR Sabers, Saberbay, Vader's Vault, and Genesis Custom Sabers, among many others. Sound font makers like Kyberphonic, Saber Theory, and the whole Discord font scene supply the audio that makes a saber feel alive.
